The Morning That Started It All
Before the engines roared and the dust rose, before the crowd held its breath and the starting flag was waved, the Opening Conference kicked it all off. Held at the legendary Jungle Bar Koh Rong, it brought together the beating heart of this island in an atmosphere of anticipation, excitement, and shared dreams.
A special thanks to the extraordinary team that made this event possible: to Francesca Isceri, the visionary organizer whose passion and determination turned an impossible dream into reality; to Gianmarco Ciccarese, circuit and safety manager, who designed and worked day and night to create an exciting yet perfectly safe course; to Mario Piazza, General Manager of The Royal Sands Koh Rong, the island's most exclusive 5-star resort and our main sponsor, whose generous support gave wings to this event; and to Sara, our official translator, who united hearts and languages throughout the weekend.

The Night at Sound Garden
The legendary Sound Garden hosted the opening ceremony and party night, taking full charge of the concert organisation — and made all the drivers drink for free all night long!

The air was charged with electricity, the drivers received their glory moment, the sponsors met their champions, and the entire community gathered around a common fire: the love for Koh Rong, its people, and the magic that only this island can create.
The whole village came together for this incredible night. Kids, elders, local authorities, tourists and expats — everyone dancing and celebrating side by side with our drivers. This is what the Tuk Tuk Koh Rong Race is all about: a community event that unites an entire island.
Under the stars, on the sand, with the jungle as a backdrop — Sound Garden delivered a night nobody on Koh Rong will ever forget.

One Track. 25 Warriors.
The moment everyone had been waiting for. At the start, 25 tuk-tuk drivers launched themselves onto the most extraordinary circuit ever seen on Koh Rong: a secret and unique track, carved into the wild jungle, along white-sand beaches, and through the island's magical mangrove tunnels. The best part? The race ended just meters from the fantastic Kerfuffle Bay beach bar, which welcomed drivers, sponsors, and fans with music, cocktails, and excellent food!
One after another, each driver tackled the narrow and technical course, designed not only for speed, but also for precision, courage, and character. The crowd roared. The engines roared, ready to go!
The referees — the talented students of Preak Svay School's Class 14G and their PE teacher — kept an eye on every turn. Because in this race, it wasn't just the fastest lap that mattered: it was heart, concentration, and the pure joy of driving.
This was the story that was being written on this island, and everyone present knew it.
Glory on Long Set Beach
For the first time in Koh Rong's history, a tuk-tuk parade rolled down the walking street of magnificent Long Set Beach: a moving moment that sent shivers down everyone's spine and moved us to tears.
We are deeply grateful to the Cambodian authorities for granting us this extraordinary privilege, allowing us to write a new page in the island's history. A huge thank you also goes to Pura Vida Long Set Beach for hosting the awards ceremony in such a breathtaking setting.
After the parade, the moment of truth arrived: Mr. Chen was crowned champion of the First Koh Rong Tuk-tuk Race, winning the first prize of $300. Mr. Hay deservedly placed second, and third place went to Mr. Lalalu. The winners of the special categories, Mr. Sen Sui for best decorated tuk tuk and the funniest driver costume, and Mr. Dara for crowd favorite, received their $50 prizes and gold medals amidst thunderous applause from the entire community.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of the entire Koh Rong community: our event and driver sponsors, our drivers, the authorities, our event hosts, our tireless volunteers, and every single person who came to cheer, laugh, and celebrate together.

The Mayor of Koh Rong Island, Mr. Reach Sovan, honored our champions with a private dinner where they shared stories, experiences, and visions for the future.
An emotional moment that celebrated the true power of sport, community, and dialogue — bringing people together beyond the finish line.
All while enjoying delicious pizzas and pasta carbonara at Casa Mia Italian Restaurant, on the beautiful island of Koh Rong.
